Gena Moon Barn (Thayne) Built by Ken Coffman in 1940's. From the August 2005 SVHS Calendar Gena Moon Barn (Thayne) "This barn was built in the late 1930s by the Hart family as a dairy barn with hay loft for storage. It was built of red pines with a concrete base and a tin roof. Also used as a horse barn. Designed is typical for Star Valley. Originally owned by the Hart family - two spinster sisters and their brother. It was known as the "Old Hart Place." Current use is for horses and storage and it works well. The barn was the main attraction for buying the place and has been a social gathering place for the family. Have 45 acres & we raised beef cows & hay until four years ago."
